1. Make sure the verb conjugation agrees with the subject of the sentence-singlular vs plural-1st person vs second person vs third person 2. Make sure your adjective agrees with the noun it describes-singular vs plural-masculine vs feminine 3. Keep it simple.-First use words/phrasings which we are studying for each chapter.-Second use words you are familiar with.-Lastly use words you have to look up. It's easy to misuse an unfamiliar word/phrase. 4. Keep the sentence structure simple and avoid run on sentences that just last forever and actually make several points which should be in several sentences but they're not, they're all in one because a comma is not the same as a period and sentences like this one are pretty hard to follow. :-) 5. Don't just memorize the grammar points for the quiz/test and then forget you ever knew it. Let your knowledge accumulate. Language is a cumulative study. You must remember the basics in order to advance. 6. Have fun! You can speak French now, and that's awesome!
